Seattle Beer Week: Days 1-5

One of the events I’ve been looking forward to the most since moving to Seattle is upon us. Seattle Beer Week is 11 days of fun and booze. Including events by heavy hitters such as Cantillon, this lineup is sure not to disappoint. There are tons of events to fit every palate and pocketbook. Here are our top 3 picks for each of the first five days:

Thursday May 8th:
Cascade Brewing Night | 4pm-10pm | The Sixgill
Tapping: Apricot Sour, Shrieking Violet Sour, Grenadine Sour and Honey Ginger Lime.

Cantillon & Drie Fonteinen Night |  5pm-10pm | Urban Family Public House
Tapping: Cantillon – Lou Pepe Framboise, Iris, Fou’Foune and Mamouche
Drie Fonteinen – Hommage and Golden Doesjel

SEATTLE CASK-O-RAMA! | 6pm-11:45pm | Beveridge Place Pub
There will be 18 casks from 18 different breweries. Oh the deliciousness!

 

Friday May 9th:
Back in Black Stout Fest | 11am-11pm | Brouwer’s Cafe
All the stouts you can drink before you pass out. Check out the full tap list HERE. 

Nanobrewery Night | 6pm-9pm | Naked City Taphouse
There will be beers from 21 Washington breweries including the first retail keg from Charging Hippo, Zombie Jesus (Imperial Porter Brewed with Cadbury Creme Eggs and aged on oak and bourbon).

Beer/Cheese/Chocolate with Sierra Nevada | 5pm-8pm | Montlake Traveler
Beer, cheese, chocolate, oh my! Three of our favorite things paired together in one yummy event.

 

Saturday May 10th:
Brewers Breakfast | 10am-2pm | Burgundian

  1. So sad I won’t be able to come up from PDX for this! It all sounds incredible. I love all the Cascade Brewing options too, the honey ginger lime is crazy good. Guess I’ll have to drown my sorrows at the brewery this weekend instead!
