We’re putting on our professor pants and teaming up with the fine folks over at Banger’s Sausage House and Beer Garden to teach a class in their upcoming “Beer College” series during Austin Beer Week.
Everyone’s favorite cool, smooth, bottom-fermenting beauty–the lager.
That’s right, from Pilsners to Doppelbocks, we’ll be delving into the wonderful world of lagers, giving students the opportunity to order a special flight featuring Live Oak Pilz, Austin Beerworks’ Pearl Snap German-Style Pils and Black Thunder Schwarz and Spaten Optimator Doppelbock. The chef will also be cookin’ up some delightful lager-friendly pairings.
Class is in session at Bangers on Tuesday, Oct.23 at 7:00 p.m. and we hope to see all of you there!
Now, the big question, will our teaching style be more “Dead Poets Society” or “Stand and Deliver”?
